About Life ... Sobre a vida ...

We all breath, cry, feel lonely, love regardless of our race, gender or orientation. We all crave the human touch at some stage in our lives, someone to hold, someone to simply be there for us during our moments of need. After all, everyone in this life deserves "happiness". Eternal City

Resting, originally uploaded by WandererGR.

Rome

I honestly don't know how to put in words the feelings I had yesterday, when I took for a tour to Rome 2 of my friends that came to visit me here in L'Aquila.

Marvelous!Glorious!Magnificent!

By the minute we went into the subway to take the first train to Saint Peter's Square, we were surrounded by hundreds of people that each of them had someting to do, somewhere to go, something to talk about, something to think about.
The diversity you meet in such big cities is astonishing. Monuments filled with young people, old people, people that take a walk, people that sit there to draw a statue or two, Roman people that just pass by to go to work.

The narrow streets from Piazza Navona to the Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi are filled with turists coming and going, groups from France, US, Cina, Japan, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Greece, Italy and many many other countries. Little souvenir shops are thriving throughout Rome with many cute little items to take back home.

Fountains... The Fountains in Rome are practically in every corner. Pigeons in a sunny day like yesterday are catching their breath and drink a sip of water there. Children are playing, frightening them from time to time, to make them fly away for a while.

It's a wonderfull city. Rome. Although I wouldn't like to live in L'Aquila, I would be able to pass some years of my life in Rome. Honestly.

I must make it a habit. I must go to Rome, to take some pictures, to read a book in Piazza del Popolo, to just talk to two or three people about anything on the streets, once a month.

I shall try.

Don't forget, I have thrown many coins in Fontana di Trevi. Therefore, I am bound to go back again and again and again...
