About Life ... Sobre a vida ...

We all breath, cry, feel lonely, love regardless of our race, gender or orientation. Where is the Fiddle and where is the Roof?

Many things have changed since 59 in Greece. Traditions have been modernized(oxymoron?) quite a bit.Nowadays only in little towns or isolated villages traditions are maintained almost unchanged.

Traditions..What is right and what is wrong? What should be left just as it is and what should change dramatically in order for the society to move its gears?

As I wrote to another blog recently, Man in Greek is called 'Anthropos'.Which derives from 'Ano Throsko', meaning, looking always up,ahead. That's what we are supposed to do.That's what we need to do..

What would man have become if traditions ruled our life? If curiosity and risk wasn't in our blood? Because, let's admit it, curiosity, apart from killing the cat, also was the main engine power of mental evolution ever since Homo Neaderthalensis ''grew up'' to be Homo Sapiens.
Now in the era of Homo Digitalis more than ever, thrives the need of curiosity...It's not just the urge of finding the cure for Cancer. It's the curiosity to unravel how our organism is designed that will lead us to our goal.

And fortunately, or not, man is an animal that is never contented with what he possesses. There will always be another goal to achieve. Another ''something'' that will make our lives more tranquill to live and more pleasant. After all..Don't we all seek tranquility in life at some point? And tranquility is interpreted differently in every individual. Let's just say that we seek our own and personal tranquility and happiness..
